Our nonprofit organization is dedicated to providing safe transitional housing and empowerment services to homeless and at-risk veterans in the Oakland County Area. Our mission is to encourage and nurture the growth and development of these veterans, so they can transition back into their communities with dignity and self-sufficiency.
At Safe Place Transition Center, we believe that every veteran deserves a safe place to call home, and we work tirelessly to make this a reality for as many veterans as possible. We understand that the transition from military to civilian life can be difficult, especially for those who have experienced homelessness or financial hardship. That's why we provide a supportive and welcoming environment where veterans can regain their independence and rebuild their lives.
Our social enterprises, which we call Safe Community, play a crucial role in our efforts to support veterans. These enterprises provide job training and employment opportunities to our residents, giving them the skills and experience they need to succeed in the workforce. By supporting Safe Community, you're not only helping to fund our operations, but also helping veterans become self-sufficient and contributing members of their communities.
We're proud to be located in the Metro-Detroit community and grateful for the support of Bank of America, which funds a large part of our operations. With their help and the help of our dedicated staff and volunteers, we're able to provide essential services to veterans in need.
Thank you for your interest in Safe Place Transition Center. Together, we can make a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.
